Semiconductor - GT TECH

13 images

GT TECH machines the mechanical components inside semiconductor production equipment: vacuum chamber bodies, base plates, flanges and fixture assemblies. This is the most demanding group we serve, because the parts must hold their dimensions while working under vacuum and through continuous temperature cycling.

Technical requirements

Mating surfaces must be flat and clean so the assembly seals correctly under vacuum. Threaded holes and locating faces must match the drawing exactly so components stay interchangeable between production batches. We control dimensions at each stage and keep inspection records for every delivered batch.

Typical components

Vacuum chamber bodies
Machined from solid aluminium with seal grooves and flanges at both ends.
Base and fixture plates
Locating plates with multiple threaded holes for internal mechanisms.
Flanges and joints
Connecting parts between chambers, requiring high surface flatness.
Guide components
Slides, supports and locating parts for moving mechanisms.

AEROSPACE

Aerospace

Aerospace structural components

Aerospace - GT TECH

3 images

We machine long structural members, frames and equipment mounts for aerospace applications. Most parts are milled from solid aluminium billet and pocketed out to reduce weight while retaining the stiffness required by the customer's structural calculations.

Technical requirements

Long parts distort easily during machining, so the cutting sequence and workholding are planned in advance to limit warping. Each part is measured after machining and delivered with its inspection record.

Typical components

Structural members
Long pocketed parts milled from solid aluminium billet.
Frame components
Load-bearing frame sections machined as symmetrical pairs.
Equipment mounts
Brackets with precise locating faces and threaded holes.
Connecting parts
Bushings, pins and joining components between assemblies.

Medical devices - GT TECH

2 images

GT TECH machines precision turned parts and small sub-assemblies for medical equipment, mainly in stainless steel. This group focuses on rotational components: shafts, tubes, connectors and parts requiring a polished finish.

Technical requirements

Surfaces must be smooth and free of tool marks and burrs, as this directly affects how well the device can be cleaned and sterilized. Materials are selected to the customer's stated requirement, and we inspect every part rather than sampling.

Typical components

Precision turned parts
Stepped shafts, bushings and rotational parts with tight tolerances.
Connectors and joints
Multi-diameter fittings with threads and tapered faces.
Shafts and tubes
Tubular parts with through bores requiring high concentricity.
Polished components
Mirror-finished parts with no tool marks or burrs.

Airframes and gimbal assemblies

We machine airframes, gimbal housings, rotation shafts and motor mounts for unmanned aerial systems. The central problem in this group is cutting weight to a minimum while keeping the structure rigid, so parts typically carry extensive pocketing and thin walls.

Technical requirements

Thin walls chatter and deform during cutting, which calls for cutting parameters and workholding tailored to each part. On gimbal assemblies, the bearing bores must be concentric so the mechanism rotates smoothly without binding.

Typical components

Airframes
X-frames and plate frames pocketed out to reduce weight.
Gimbal housings
Multi-face housings carrying the rotation mechanism and sensors.
Rotation shafts and supports
Rotating parts requiring concentric bearing bores.
Motor mounts
Flanges and brackets with precise locating faces.

Machine and automation parts

Machinery & equipment - GT TECH

3 images

GT TECH machines mechanical components for industrial machines, automation lines and production robots. This group covers mounting plates, flanges, drive components and replacement parts for machines already running at customer sites.

Technical requirements

Most orders here are one-off or low-volume parts, and many are urgent so the machine can return to production quickly. We work from full drawings as well as from old sample parts that we measure and reproduce.

Typical components

Mounting plates and flanges
Plate components with multiple threaded holes and locating faces.
Drive components
Shafts, bushings, couplings and parts within motion assemblies.
Structural supports
Supporting structures for mechanical units in automation lines.
Replacement parts
Reproduced from an old sample or drawing for machines in service.
